About

I went to my first Norwich City match in 1978.

I got my first season ticket in 1981.

Over the years that have followed, I’ve picked up and kept an ever increasing amount of Norwich City memorabilia.

I set-up this website as a little side project to document and share this collection for others to enjoy and for those that are interested in the history of the club.

The website includes cover scans of Norwich City programmes and handbooks. Photographs of match worn and player issue shirts and a few team sheets; including the most recent digital only versions so they would be preserved.

None of the items on this website are for sale.

Canary Threads

In 2024, I authored and published “Canary Threads – The story of 50 Norwich City shirts”.

It’s a 120 page book that showcases some of the greatest shirts worn by the Canaries over the last 60 years or so.

It includes shirts from my own collection as well as from Billy Pointer and Wes Hoolahan.

The book has shirts from the historic moments such as winning promotion to the top flight for the first time ever in 1972. Wembley for the League Cup Finals of 1973 and 1975. Winning the 1985 Milk Cup. FA Cup Semi-Finals in 1989 and 1992. The UEFA cup run of 1993/94. The 2002 and 2015 Play-Off Finals.

There are also shirts worn by some of the finest Canaries ever including Ron Davies, Kevin Keelan, Martin Peters, Martin O’Neill, Bryan Gunn, Ian Crook, Darren Huckerby, Grant Holt, Teemu Pukki and Josh Sargent.

All profits from the book are going to the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation.

Wanted

I’m always looking to add to my collection. I have a number of missing programmes as I try to find a copy from every competitive first team match from the present day back to the end of the second world war.

I also interested in any Norwich City match worn / player issue shirts; the older the better!
