1973 Norwich City League Cup Final shirt

This is an original, long-sleeve Norwich City shirt number 7 shirt made by Umbro for the 1973 League Cup Final.

It was a very special occasion as it was the first ever time Norwich had played at Wembley.

The shirt’s badge had been changed to feature the League Cup trophy on the top left hand side instead of the usual castle and lion.

Underneath the badge, is the “Wembley 1973” embroidery.

Norwich lost the final against Tottenham Hotspur by a single goal. Doug Livermore wore the 7 shirt for the Canaries on the day.
